We have shops throughout Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre and our dedicated team of managers and volunteers help raise vital funds for the hospice.
We sell a wide variety of ‘pre-loved’ items which are donated by you, our supporters, and we are always looking for more goods. Having a clear out? We always need good quality clothing, handbags, shoes, books, bric-a-brac, accessories and jewellery. Our Devonshire Road shop in Blackpool is always on the look-out for donations of toys and nursery equipment. Our Sales Room on Talbot Road is urgently looking for items of good quality furniture to sell.
Our shop on Clifton Street, Lytham has a small boutique feel and some really lovely clothes, shoes and accessories on offer. Why not drop in for a coffee and a browse? You’ll find a warm welcome at all our branches – and you will usually bag a bargain too!
We have a new Brian House Children’s Hospice shop at 69 Victoria Road, Cleveleys – come and say hello and see our lovely modern interior with a wide range of bargain merchandise.
Do you have any furniture or small electrical items that need a new home? We can sell them to raise valuable funds for hospice care, and very often we can collect bulky items from your door. If you live locally and have large items to donate, just contact any of our shops or telephone us on 01253 395822 for more details. Or you can drive to our Donation Centre on Talbot Road, Blackpool where our staff and volunteers will help you unload.
Could you spare a few hours?
We always need volunteers for our shops – people with a flair for window dressing, customer service skills or admin experience. Enthusiasm and commitment are more important than retail experience though! Please call us for more details. If you can spare three or four hours a week, we would love to hear from you.
Our stock comes from many sources
Some is donated directly to our shops, to the hospice itself, or collected from door to door bag drops. Other items are collected by Blackpool Council on our behalf, as well as by schools and businesses in the local area. We aim to offer excellent quality items at fair prices. Our stock changes week by week and we are incredibly diverse in the range of products we sell. We want to ensure both our customers and donors are happy with our service and we also try to be a good neighbour on our local high streets, investing in our shops to make them as attractive as we can.
Donate using the app
Gone for Good is the easy way to donate things you no longer need to Trinity. Take a photo of your items and submit your contact details with the Gone for Good app.
We will then be in touch to arrange a collection.

Please remember that although every donation is important to us, current regulations mean there are a few things we cannot accept for re-sale – such as furniture without fire safety labelling. We can’t usually accept fridges or cookers, but if you are unsure, please give us a bell.
We sell as many donated items as we can – sometimes using online outlets such as eBay – but any we cannot, we try to sell-on for recycling, with the proceeds supporting our charity.
Please ‘Gift Aid’ your donation if you can: it means that we get an extra 25p in every pound – that really adds up.
Why do we have charity shops? Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children’s Hospice must raise over £5 million a year to keep our doors open and our services free to those who need them: our charity shops bring in a massive £300,000 a year.

Volunteering at one of our charity shops is fun and can provide a great opportunity to meet new friends. We encourage young people who are taking part in Duke of Edinburgh schemes to work with us. We also run Training Schemes and have ‘back to work’ placement agency staff working alongside our teams. If you’d like to volunteer, you can see our latest vacancies on our volunteering page.
